Chocolate Peanut Butter Mousse Pie

Hey everyone welcome to my Blog and thank you so much for watching this video. This pie was inspired by a Peanut butter cream pie that I used to get at the grocery store that I was completely obsessed with and I was inspired to make the vegan alternative to it. I played around in the kitchen for a few days to get the perfect mousse consistency and this is what I came up with. This recipe is creamy, rich, chocolatey and the perfect dessert for special occasions (no one will even be able to tell that its vegan!) or just for those times that you get that sweet tooth. I personally love this recipe and if you want to stay away from added sugar, I suggested some healthier alternatives as well! Please let me know if you give this recipe a try and what you would like to see next. Don’t forget to give this video a thumbs up if you enjoyed it and to subscribe to my youtube channel if you would like to see more videos like this.
Thank you my loves! xoxo
2 cups pitted medjool dates
1 cup raw walnuts
(if you have a nut allergy you can also use dry mulberries)
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
Pie filling:
15oz can aquafaba
1 cup raw organic peanut butter
1 cup vegan chocolate chips
(you can also use cacao-not cocoa powder or carob powder for a sugar free and healthier alternative–cacao has many healing/medicinal properties)
1 tsp vanilla extract
(you can also use vanilla bean or vanilla powder if you wish to avoid the alcohol in vanilla extract)
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp pink Himalayan salt
(you can use regular salt but this is healthier alternative to processed salt that actually contains health benefits and has even been shown to lower cholesterol)
1/2-1 cup agave nectar
(amount depends on how sweet you’d like it and you can also use maple syrup or coconut nectar for alternatives)
Water – as needed
(or coconut water for extra health benefits)
As for toppings, you can add whatever you’d like of course. I just kept it simple and sprinkled some cocao powder on top before freezing.
